Came across this cute bakery located on Smith Street. There are so many options to choose from. I ended up getting a tricolor cookie and Rugelach both of us which were really good. The patio is beautiful!! There are a lot of flavored latte options but I opted for ginger tea. I'll definitely be back here!

Wow! I have nothing to say except this is my most favorite bakery to date. To die for. Quaint shop. Stopped in for a slice of coconut cake. The cake was spectacular but the Lobster Tail stole the show. Lobster Tail-Oh my lord, this flaky, crispy vanilla custard filled is worth flying to New York! Please stop in and don't miss out. Thank me later.

I love their Brooklyn blackout cake! I also love to get their pumpkin pie during the fall. There was a time when they mixed up my pumpkin pie order and gave me a a sweet potato pie instead. In addition to correcting the mistake, they gave me a free cake slice for the trouble They have great staff!

Recommended to me by a coworker, and this place is hyped up for a REASON. It's delicious here. Every item is decadent and beautifully made. Their chocolate cakes don't taste artificial or sickly sweet, or syrupy. These desserts are really top-tier. Everything I've ever bought here, whether it was to dine in or to take out for a special occasion, has never disappointed. The displays are packed with stunning desserts from cupcakes to full size cakes, to all other kinds of sweet goodies. The servers keep everything moving which is so amazing considering the inside of this bakery is always packed! Be wary, if you get overstimulated easily, this place might put you on edge when you first step inside so be prepared to wade through a bunch of people when you first go through the entrance. Walk in a bit further past the crowds if you want to dine in. The drinks are not the best in my opinion. The coffee drinks aren't exactly accurate, a latte here has way too much foam and is more like a cappuccino. They charge you $5 for a glass of milk which is ridiculous. But besides this, their desserts are really tasty and they do try to put great care in serving their customers in a timely manner but it gets busy so sometimes you might get overlooked or have to wait awhile but I personally have never had a super long wait time, as they keep the lines in the front moving as quickly as possible. But due to the fast pace, you might not get that warm and friendly, individually catered, bakery experience. If you don't care for the fluff and just want your desserts, then this place is right up your alley. I don't visit this place frequently so I cannot speak on daily or even weekly consistency but every few months, I come back for the same few desserts and cake slices and have not experienced much fluctuation between these visits. I recommend trying them out for yourself. You're surely to find something that you like and enjoy and during off peak hours, sit inside and experience a dine in as well. My husband and I enjoyed coming here for date night in the beginning of our relationship so we have fond memories of this place.

From the outside it will appear to be closed because it's so dark until you walk inside. As soon you walk in you will be greeted by the host and offered a place to sit or directed to the line for a to go order. This place has so much to offer and so much space to sit or stand, I was impressed by the set up and not overwhelmed like I am in other bakeries. I ordered the blackout cake which was rich in chocolate, the thing the lacked it was cold so it was a little stiff, I brought that bad boy home warmed it up and wallah soft gooey goodness.

A friend gifted some beautiful pastries from here, which I've been meaning to try too. I got a Fruit Tart, Lemon Meringue, and Chocolate Tart. They were all presented beautifully. The fruit tart was my favorite with all the fresh and juicy fruits on top. It was a good level of sweetness and held up quite well. Great for gifts and parties!

Mia's Bakery in Park Slope, Brooklyn is one of two locations. The other being Times Square, which is a bit more expensive given the location. It's a tiny bakery but its long display of fresh baked goodies are to drool for. I've tried two of their cakes: Nutella cake and the burnt almond cake. The Nutella cake is everything you can imagine in a chocolate , Nutella cake. Everyone loved it. While I'm not a big almond fan, the almond cake was fresh and moist, layered with almond mousse that wasn't too sweet. I'm not crazy about almonds but the cake was pretty good. They offer convenient online ordering and pickup was quick and easy. I was in and out of the bakery with my cake in less than 10 mins. Prices are standard are similar to Martha's Country Bakery. Much of the offerings are similar as well. I love Martha's so I'm hoping Mia's will continue to live up to the standards because Mia's is much closer than Martha's. I saw that they have a cute backyard which I'm interested in enjoying during the summer.

All the things you will love are here! Unfortunately I was too excited to take many pics, take my word for it -- and judge by the line, it is worth your time. Each item was delicately prepared and they do have sit down. It would've been a 15 minute wait for seats and about 15 mins for carry out. All coffees, teas and lattes. You start at the end of the display case and it makes it hard to keep your same choice. We got so many things that I highly recommend. The apple cheesecake is BETTER than Juniors. Real words. Fruit tart with the perfectly thick crust so it does not get soggy. Soft ginger molasses cookie that has crunchy edge. The Key Lime Pie is better than key lime we had in key west!! The space is tight and they do have order ahead, not sure how they gauge their menu because things go fast! The only pic I could snap was the strawberry banana cupcake. Moist, light, fluffy and gone in 60seconds
